Your life story: This was written with deep felt sincerity on Frigga's Day July 7 2000: I just got one of Mark Fantino's trademark mass mail stories, and would like to note, for the sake of having it noted somewhere, that there is nothing more important in my life than friendships, and it's never so apparent as when someone gently unbuttons their shirt and you find yourself staring at their bared soul for a moment. Even if my memory won't allow me to sustain the impact of those moments, I want to write this as a reminder that they do exist, and all the stories that carve delicate images of love and beauty with the fine blood-wet tip of a fountain pen are out there on the streets and through the walls and in every city, and I hope that I can, at least, never forget the fact---and keep looking for those people I never want to forget for a moment how wonderful this place is. No falling back into 18 when I'm 47 in a room somewhere and think to myself "how many moments have sailed past me as I absentmindedly sipped tea, or folded underwear?..."
