Bowie plays the bit role of The Shark in this Monty Python-inspired comedy, by strapping a shark's fin to his back. The story goes that Bowie was vacationing on the same location as the film shoot, and happened to be walking along the beach in his ordinary clothes when the Pythoners saw him and asked him to play the made-up role.
