Trivia
- A hit almost before it left David's pen, it aroused
strong emotions. Marc Bolan loved it, Tony Visconti hated it.
After a slow start, it eventually reached Number 5 in the UK and
marked the beginning of the next stage of Bowie's career.
- The version of The Wild Eyed Boy
From Freecloud is a different version to that on the
Space Oddity album. The B-side
on this is a stripped down instrumental version rather than a whole
orchestra.
