The FAQ-O-Matic is a system for maintaining a frequently asked questions file on the World Wide Web. Chief among its advantages over a static text FAQ are:

1. The ability to have multiple "moderators" for a single FAQ, each capable of updating any item and having it immediately available

2. Better division of the FAQ into readable subparts

3. Searchable text
