This second album of covers by Australian artist Jimmy Barnes includes a cover of All The Young Dudes. Here's what Barnes had to say about the song in the liner notes.
"It comes from a different space, and a different place in the world. I like it lyrically, and emotionally. This song is about freedom and that's what soul songs are about, "freedom and love". I wanted to get that across with the song. I played this song to my band and then played them 'Hey Jude' by Wilson Pickett, and said to them I wanted to play 'All The Young Dudes' with that sort of spirit. It's a really great version, a real soulful version."
