May 8: Available today in retail stores nationwide in the US is the soundtrack for Nicole Kidman's upcoming film Moulin Rouge. It's an "interesting" mix of songs - one of those soundtracks where the actors themselves (Kidman and Ewan McGregor) end up singing a large number of the songs. Bowie is heavily involved in various ways however. He leads off and closes the album with his rerecording of Nature Boy; the first version being Bowie solely on vocals, while the final track is the Massive Attack remix. In between is Beck's version of Diamond Dogs, along with a long snippet of "Heroes" in another medley track sung by Kidman and McGregor.
