Bowie has been confirmed as the opening act for The Concert For New York City
fund-raising event to benefit victims of the World Trade
Center Attack. Other stars to perform include Paul McCartney, The Who,
Bon Jovi, Bono and Edge of U2, Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Backstreet Boys and
more.
Tickets may be available from TicketMaster.com, but your most likely bet is to just watch
the whole event on TV. In the USA, it will be broadcast on VH-1 from 7 p.m.
ET/PT.

David's performance was awesome. He was very low key and unpretentious,
As was suitable for this momentous occasion. He looked great and sounded even better. It was a stellar performance.
