Towards the end of I'm Afraid Of Americans, the power went down for 2 to 3 minutes. Bowie didn't get upset and instead started to do funny mimes. When the power came back on, Bowie excused himself saying "I'm sorry about this". Then he turned to the mixing desk and said "Is it working now? Yeah? You're happy, I'm happy!", and then he kicked off White Light White Heat.
