| Your life story: | Born in London to irish parents. Moved to ireland when seven to a small town in the midlands. Got into music when about ten (1979) - bowie and disco at first, then the human league etc.in the early 80s, and progressed into retro pschedelia, princess tinymeat and indie a few years later. Hated where I lived but one good thing about the town was a pirate radio station (LCR) where i played all the former mentioned music. Got disinterested in Bowie mid 80s( apart from Loving the Alien), although i witnessed first gig at Slane Castle, Ireland(1987). Only really got back into him again with the Outside album. With Earthling and Hours he is back on form. Apart from Bowie my musical interests now include Dandy Warhols, Moloko, Placebo, Daniel Figgis, Cathal Coughlan and some dance music. Other interests including reading from fiction to esoterica, a bit of travel and naval gazing. |
